Liability and Assistance Outside Montenegro
Scope of service
Faber Rent a Car provides direct roadside assistance and vehicle replacement exclusively within the territory of Montenegro. Outside Montenegro, the renter is responsible for arranging and financing local assistance.
Renter responsibilities abroad
- In the event of a breakdown, accident, or theft outside Montenegro, the renter must immediately contact Faber Rent a Car at +382 69 910 111.
- The renter must contact local emergency or roadside assistance services and follow their instructions.
- All costs for towing, repairs, accommodation, or alternative transport in a foreign country are the sole responsibility of the renter.
- The renter must not authorise any repairs exceeding €150 without prior written consent from Faber Rent a Car.
- All receipts and documentation must be retained for insurance purposes.

Insurance coverage abroad
All Faber vehicles are covered by a Green Card (international motor insurance certificate) valid in Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Serbia. Third-party liability is covered. Collision damage and theft coverage abroad is subject to the excess stated in the rental agreement.
Cross-border travel requires prior notification. The renter must inform Faber Rent a Car before crossing any international border. Unauthorised border crossings may void insurance coverage and result in additional charges.
